Summer Pointe Residences (for the nth time!)

Yup! still waiting for the actual turnover! Though, last april, i have already conforme'd PAG-IBIG's Notice of Loan Approval.

However, as of today, i haven't received any advise from them yet as to when will they be able to forward my complete documents to pag-ibig for loan release because 1) It took them more than 1 month to notarize my documents and 2) The "my" title is still in the "bank" for notarization. (I have no idea if this is true)

Both of these "palusots" will be added to their other palusot about the Registry of deeds, etc.

Hay, these people really sucks!

Tagaytay Road Trip (April 14-15, 2012)

As part of our effort to "de-stress", 2 of my officemates and I went for an overnight trip to Tagaytay last weekend. This has been carefully planned not only to just relax ourselves but also to make enjoyable for AJ since they know that i was planning to bring AJ along.

It was a very nice trip. We went to Residence Inn Tagaytay Zoo, an interactive zoo where you are allowed to feed the animals (except for the tigers), you can also have your pictures taken with a tiger cub for only 50 pesos (Except that AJ doesn't want to go near the tiger cub but she had her picture taken with a parrot instead)

They also have an animal show, wherein they introduces an exotic animal to the audience and tells us their attributes, their behavior & their habitat. They are also asking for volunteers for an opportunity to see the animals up close. They are also allowed to touch the animals! AJ has volunteered, and I was actually worried that she'll be afraid when they showed an Iguana and put her on AJ's hands.
But she has become fascinated. She never cried, instead she stroked the Iguana. What a brave girl! as a reward, the animal show host gave her discount cards to all zoomanity affiliates (zoobic zafari, zoo&zip residence inn, paradizoo & etc)!

After that, we rode a shuttle and went to paradizoo, another interactive zoo/farm in Tagaytay. We have been greeted by a guide who showed us all the animals, their organic vegetable and fruit garden, a pet cemetery, they also have a butterfly and bee garden! So Nice, we just have to have an umbrella since it was a 7 km walk (i think) overall.

Here's AJ with the Llama in Paradizoo:

AJ feeding the goat:

We went back to residence Inn and allowed AJ to have her very first horse ride!

Entrance fee at Residence inn is only P299 (already includes the entrance to Paradizoo. Children 3 feet and below are free!

after that, we stayed at Hangin Garden for an afternoon siesta. It was like a retreat house. It was a very nice place especially when you need some real peace and quiet. The owner, Ms. Pinky, is a very sweet and accomodating person, she prepared our dinner and had AJ's dinner free of charge. I love thier tarragon chicken. SOOO Delicious!

We roamed around tagaytay area for a nice and deep breath of fresh air. We love the chill especially after experiencing manila's summer heat.

We spent the night in Hangin garden and went back to manila early sunday morning to attend to a baptismal in St. Joseph Church (Bamboo Organ Las Pinas).

I really enjoyed our road trip. I bet we'll be doing this again soon!

Amanda Bright Child Development School

Okay, this time it's final.

After a year, i have finally decided that it's time to send AJ to school. But to be able to... say, test the waters first, I have enrolled her to a summer school program in Amanda Bright Child Development School. It's a special summer program for Proficiency in 3R's for Nursery & Kinder. I don't quite understand yet what 3 R's mean in pre-school learning (Reading, 'Riting & 'Rithmetic perhaps wehehe). But basically, as the teacher's put it, it's an introductory program to assess the child's readiness to learn how to read, write and count. Since AJ did not go through nursery, Her knowledge has to be at the same level as the children who went through nursery by the time we enrol her to kinder class.

After the program, she'll be tested by her teachers to check if she can be accepted as a kinder pupil or if she needed to be enrolled to nursery first.

I do have high hopes that she can pass. She's a fast learner and thinker (although most of the time, sa kalokohan ginagamit), She has learned a lot from her brief spiel at Little Archers. She knows how to count until 40, she knows her alphabet, though she often mixes the small letters d, b, p & q, she knows how to write her name, so overall, I know she can pull it. But of course, I am the Mother, I have the right to be bias wehehe!

So, I am having my fingers crossed!

Summer Pointe Residences (nanaman!)

Yup, still no update from Prosperity Builders. It's been two years since I paid my reservations, and still...

I've given up my hopes that I'll be able to move in this year. School year is fast approaching so I will be needing to prioritize AJ's education first. I've decided to enrol her at her Ate's school in Baclaran. This means, next year na kami pwede makalipat (if....)

Dismayado man ako, may magagawa pa ba ako? It's been a mistake dealing w/ Prosperity Builders Resources Inc. Best I can do is to blog my horrible experiences with them so that people who are able to view this blog will be warned.

Lahat na yata ng department nila nakausap ko na, and yet, i wasn't able to get the right answers, All I get are "Most Probably", "baka", "maybe", I seldom get an exact answer. Okay duh, they've given me some exact answers pero di naman totoo like when I asked for the construction date, ang sabi July 2010. E anong taon na ngayon? Okay, there has been a re-mapping, and told me that the house will be constructed by April 2011. Again, anong taon ngayon? Paasa di ba?

last Feb, constructed na daw ang bahay, they've asked me for the nth time for my payslip and had me sign a re-computed promissory note for pag-ibig. So i have to wait na lang daw for a notice of approval from pag-ibig and after that loan take out na raw. Okay, another promise bound to be broken. Nakakasawa umasa sa kanila. Hindi sila professional kausap, so as of now, best thing I can do is to plan for other things na lang muna, at least hindi masakit sa puso dahil i've learned na pag prosperity builders ang kausap ko, hindi ako dapat umasa at maniwala.

Bahala na si LORD sa kanila...

Hubs aboard!

finally! after years of waiting for the right break to come. Hubby will finally be able to work aboard ship. We've been praying for this, and with God's grace, our prayer has been answered. Inter-island lang ang assignment nya, it's still a start.

Thank you Lord Talaga! You're so Good to us. and you're timing is really really great w/ Aj's enrolment and all....

Blackberry Curve 8520 from Globe

Last Satuday, I have applied for a postpaid plan at Globe SM Sucat. My application has been processed the same day so i get to take home my free Blackberry Curve 8520 phone , though I need to wait for 24 hours before the plan can be activated. I applied for an UNLISURF plan so I'll be able to surf and connect to my facebook, YM and twitter accounts anytime and anywhere. Not only that, I was able to connect with my friends more via BB Messenger. Ha!Ha! I'm so happy!

Coron Getaway (Feb 3-6, 2012)

We had a wonderful time in Coron. Our tour and accomodations has been handled by Ms. Rina of Coron Wonders so everything went out smoothly. We arrived there Feb 6, around 1PM. We went straight to our resort, Princess of Coron, to freshen up prior to our town proper familiarization and trip to maquinit hotspring.

Since it was only our first day, Ms. Rina commissioned a trike to take us to take a tour around town and to bring us at the foot of our first stop: Mount Tapyas. It is a 700-step trek up which eventually led us to a great view of the whole coron town.

A local boy who sells cold water and gatorade went up with us and incidentally became our tour guide/photographer. I admired this boy. May future siya with photography given the chance. He took our picture below:

It was an exhausting climb up and an equally knee-wobbling climb down. But the tricycle driver told us not to worry because our next stop is the Maquinit Hot Spring (which, according to wikipedia, is the only known salty hotspring in Asia).

And it IS really soothingly wonderful! It's already after sunset when we arrived so it's kind of sad that we're not able to clearly see how really beautiful it is. We just had our dinner at Maquinit and went back to the resort afterwards

Our day two trip consists of island bumming trips on Bulog, Malcapuya and Banana Island.

We went to Bulog first so we can see the sandbar prior to high tide.

Then we went to Malcapuya Island where we had our lunch. Malcapuya is LOVELY! with it's powdery white sand and laid-back feel....

Then for the last island... Banana Island...can't express how amazing this place is. Maybe the picture below will help...

And the adventure doesn't even stop there. Our 3rd day tour brought us to Coron Island Loop. It gave us a much closer look at Coron's wonderful Islets.

We went snorkelling at Siete Picados.

we had our breakfast at Calachuchi Island

We docked at Kayangan Cove at made it all the way up to Kayangan Cave.

Then to.... KAYANGAN LAKE!

The cleanest lake in the Philippines.

The HIGHLIGHT of our GETAWAY!

explored even it's not-so-dark recess

And enjoyed every minute of it.

Afterwards, we went to twin lagoons (where I lost my rented snorkelling mask, uuugh!), but enjoyed our stay there anyway.

We stopped by Vivian beach for lunch

Then for our last stop, we went snorkelling at the skeleton wreck. We have no underwater cam (w/c will be a major no-no on our next trip) SAYANG!

Our last day is just gala and pasalubong buying day. We went around town on foot and went back to our resort to prep for our departure.

Coron is such a wonderful wonderful GOD given place. I promise myself that I'll be coming back there with Hubby and AJ.
