Getting back on track...
It's been more than a month since i last blogged. I've been crazy busy of a whole lot of things that I don't know how i will be able to keep track. But i'll try...
Let me see...
My officemates bought me to St. Luke's Global City last monday when i felt so dizzy and started vomitting. The emergency doctors and nurses started assessing my situation, even giving my medication thru heplock IV to stop the vomitting. They let me rest for a while, and then when the dizziness and the vomitting feeling subsided, they allowed to discharge me but advised me to have a follow up check up with my attending physician for further reading of my blood test results.
And so, I had our company doctor check my results and advised me to have my eyes checked by an Opthalmologist just i case my astimatism has recurred and that this has caused my dizzy spells. She then advised me to check back with her as soon as i get the results from the Opthalmologist.
Another incident happened this month, and I am glad to tell you the my Loooooong wait is over! The house and the keys has been turned over to me (finally!). And now, i am looking for a good carpenter to make all the finishings needed for the house. I applied for MPL from Pag-ibig and SSS which will keep my house improvement project running. I still have a long way to go but at least everything is in my hands now. I can move at my own pace without relying on the inefficiency of that stupid developer (Prosperity Builders Resources Inc).
As for my baby bear. She's doing well in school. They have celebrated their linggo ng wika last Sept 3 (1-week late due to school cancellations bought by Habagat). I am so sad that I was not able to personally attend and watch her performance because of a report due for submission. But still, I promise to be there next time!
Papa Bear's ship is on dry dock hence he was able to come home during weekends. So we have time for family bondings. We get to visit our house and lay down our plans, we get to go to church together. Baby Bear is really enjoying every minute she gets to spend with the Papa Bear and it really makes my heart swell with affection and gratitude.
So there. That's the highlight of my month. I hope to have more time to blog often!!!
Till next time!

Amanda Bright Child Development School
Okay, this time it's final.
After a year, i have finally decided that it's time to send AJ to school. But to be able to... say, test the waters first, I have enrolled her to a summer school program in Amanda Bright Child Development School. It's a special summer program for Proficiency in 3R's for Nursery & Kinder. I don't quite understand yet what 3 R's mean in pre-school learning (Reading, 'Riting & 'Rithmetic perhaps wehehe). But basically, as the teacher's put it, it's an introductory program to assess the child's readiness to learn how to read, write and count. Since AJ did not go through nursery, Her knowledge has to be at the same level as the children who went through nursery by the time we enrol her to kinder class.
After the program, she'll be tested by her teachers to check if she can be accepted as a kinder pupil or if she needed to be enrolled to nursery first.
I do have high hopes that she can pass. She's a fast learner and thinker (although most of the time, sa kalokohan ginagamit), She has learned a lot from her brief spiel at Little Archers. She knows how to count until 40, she knows her alphabet, though she often mixes the small letters d, b, p & q, she knows how to write her name, so overall, I know she can pull it. But of course, I am the Mother, I have the right to be bias wehehe!
So, I am having my fingers crossed!

Life isn't always bliss
I'm sad today.
I woke up today still tired from all the emotions I felt last night. I went home from work yesterday, my child sick, my mom bickering...my husband drinking, my brothers taking sides. In my mind it was chaotic. It was like being caught in the middle of two clashing boulders. My mom is angry that my husband left my sick child to her while he drinks alcohol. My husband is upset because he wasn't able to decide for my child's well being because my mom hinders him so. My mom hates my husband because he's doesn't have a job, to her it seemed that my husband is leeching on me. My husband wasn't able to work because he was looking for a good agency that will finally sail him.
If you were in my shoes, what would you do?
I admit I might have chosen the wrong person to be with. The person who has no work because in his idealistic mind he will achieve what he dreamed of becoming. A sailor. My mom cannot see that. For her, it was all about MONEY. Money is everything. She hates for me to work alone for my family because I can no longer give her my whole salary (the way I used to before I bore AJ).
But coming home to a drunk husband is another story. He wasn't even Man enough to support me and our daughter and yet he still has enough guts to get himself drunk?
Now I'm confused whom should I hate.
If GOD isn't holding my heart now, I would have plunged a knife straight into my heart so I can no longer feel how it aches. God is still good. I maybe sad right at this moment, but i can hear him whispering to my heart that a little later today there will still be a reason for me to smile and to go on with life. I am crying again now, but not because I'm sad, but because of gratitude. I am feeling pain simply because I have the capacity to feel. It means I also have the capacity to feel love, happiness, joy, hope...
I am crying now because I am thankful that I have found strength in this moment of weakness, a shelter from the storm...and because of it...
